- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a rquest for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Life Technologie, Grand Island, NY. The statutory for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICs code for this action is 325413. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commerical Services, NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with the CCR/SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. A DUN & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet online at https://www.dnb.com/products/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. Howerver, the Government shall consider all response received within 10 days from this posting. Written responses to this shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
