- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HQ0727-14-M-0001 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and is a sole source to Synopsys, INC, 700 East Middlefield Rd. Mountain View, CA 94043. This requirement is to acquire software maintenance support and updates for the Synopsys UNIX based design environment IAW SOW 14-4A4, dated 29-Oct-13. This includes CLIN 0001, 1 LO, Software Maintenance Support for 12 months (1-Jan-14 to 31-Dec-14). The solicitation document and incorporation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-70. Set-aside: none; associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210; small business size standard : $35.5M. Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program: not applicable.. The objective of this procurement is to acquire 12 months of software maintenance support and updates for the Cadence Design Environment.
