- Furnish all labor, equipment and material to accomplish the work that includes but is not limited to the removal of the old heating units and the installation of two new HVAC units complete and operational at the Springville Work Center Barracks and two HVAC units at the Peppermint Work Center. Both located on the Sequoia National Forest. Springville WC (elevation 1500 feet): From Porterville, CA, at the intersection of State Highways 65 and 190, drive east 16.8 miles on S.H. 190 to Springville Work Center. Peppermint WC (elevation 7400 feet): From Porterville, CA, at the intersection of State Highways 65 and 190 drive east on 190 through Springville and Camp Nelson past Quaking Aspen Campground; continue on the Western Divide Highway past Ponderosa 3 miles south. The entrance to the Work Center will be on the right side of the road.
