- RFI SOW and List of Parts This is a Request for Information (RFI) for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10: Market Research. The USCG is seeking information on the ability of a contractor to serve as a single point of contact in the acquisition of commercial items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413. These parts are for use on the HC144A Mission System Pallets (MSP). All quantities are estimates. Only NEW items are acceptable. Reconditioned or used items are not acceptable. The final award will be in accordance with FAR 13.5 if applicable or FAR 15. The final contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price contract. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S.) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. Please be advised that all material submissions and responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this RFI. Interested parties may provide a concise response statement to include: 1. Ability to provide traceability to the OEM. Traceability means clear, documented, auditable paper trail for ownership and transfer of parts from the OEM to the final vendor. 2. Whether all parts listed can be delivered, or which parts listed cannot be delivered. Please provide your capability to satisfy the USCG’s requirements, as well as the information immediately below, no later than 3:59 PM EST, Dec 23, 2013 to Jerry.Low@uscg.mil as a Windows Vista/Microsoft Compatible zip file if over 1MB in size, Word or Excel Docs are accepted.
