- This is a Design-Build Project for a new Andrews Federal Center Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility (The Project) on thirty five (35) acres of land in Prince George's County, Maryland. The Project includes the design and construction of 175 bus capacity Maintenance and Operations Facility, Fuel and Wash Buildings, a Heavy Repair and Overhaul (HR&O) Facility, a Warehouse, Bus Engineering and a Non-Revenue Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The Project also includes all site Work including utilities and parking. Site Visit: November 22, 2013. 9am. Pre-Proposal Conference: November 22, 2013. 1pm. Technical and Price Proposal: December 23, 2013 Projected Contract Award: April 30, 2014. Please review the Solicitation for additional details. DBE Information: The solicitation includes a DBE goal of 30% if the bid price is $500,000 or more. SITE VISIT LOCATION: 4311 Forestville Road, District Heights, MD 20747 DATE AND TIME: November 22, 2013 9AM Eastern Time Attendees must provide their own transportation. Attendees shall bring PPE and an approved safety vest. Individuals that plan to attend the Site Visit are requested to send an email 24 hours in advance of the Site Visit to ggufranova@wmata.com, with their name, title, company name, mailing address, telephone, and email for each attendee. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Site Visit attendees will be directed to the driveway entrance at 4333 Forestville Road, District Heights, MD 20747 where they will see a WMATA Representative with a vest and sign. When the attendees enter the Site they will be further directed along the construction road towards the gravel haul road to park and gather along the haul road to register and sign the Hold Harmless, view the Site from the high ground. If safe to do so, Site Visit attendees under the directions of WMATA Representatives will walk to the area of the future WMATA Site entrance. The Site Visit is expected to finish by 11AM Eastern Time. Attached are FQ13087 Site Visit Maps. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE LOCATION: WMATA, Jackson Graham Building,, Lobby Level, 600 5th Street, NW, Washington, D.C., 20001. DATE AND TIME: November 22, 2013 1PM Eastern Time All attendees must provide a WMATA Contractor ID or a government issued identification for entry into the Jackson Graham Building (cameras, cell phones, computers and other mobile devices are permitted). Attendees will clear security and/or receive temporary badges when entering the Jackson Graham Building. The Pre-proposal Conference is expected to finish by 3PM Eastern Time.
