Description

The Network Contracting Office 16 - Oklahoma City intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Alcon Laboratories Inc. 6201 S. Freeway, TC-25 Fort Worth, TX 76134-2001 to purchase LensX Laser Soft Kit Patient Interface Face Packs to utilize with existing laser cataract surgery equipment. No other vendor has been found that has the capabilities of providing these supplies since they are proprietary to the manufacturer, Alcon Laboratories Inc. This notice of intent to Sole Source is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No other vendors are being solicited to identify their interest and capability to provide these items as described above. No telephone responses will be accepted. There will not be a determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on the proprietary rights that Alcon Laboratories Inc. has to these laser cataract surgery supplies. Justification for this sole source is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
