- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price contract, to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Dresser Rand per FAR 6.302, Only One Responsible Source, for OEM technical field representative services for required repair of Ship ™s Service Air Compressors (SSAC) and Low Pressure Air Compressors, O2N2 Aft/Forward on board a naval vessel. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The repair/installation to be performed OCONUS and INCONUS. This acquisition for services will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.5 utilizing Fair & Reasonable LPTA evaluation factors. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 November 2013 with a closing date of 10 December 2013. Required period of performance is from 12 January 2014 through 05 April 2014 to accommodate purchase of long lead time materials. Expected award date on or before December 25, 2014. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price service type contract. Prospective offeror ™s not on CCR-registry should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities with solicitation number N00406-14-T-0043. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO website. Prospective offeror ™s are responsible for checking the NECO website early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offeror ™s should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror ™s inability to access the document posted on the referenced website.
