- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is an unusual and compelling urgency and a delay in award would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government (FAR 6.302-2). See posted J&A for further information. The 139th Airlift Wing of the Missouri Air National Guard has an emergency requirement for the repair of an underground water line break. Included in the requirement are tearing out asphalt & concrete streets and parking lots to discover the exact site of the break, plus associated repairs and repaving of the affected areas. Approval is requested for a sole source acquisition. Delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government, for both property and financial considerations, IAW FAR 6.302-2(b)(2).
