- HD Satellite Services HARB THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This effort is to seek qualified sources capable interested in establishing a contract with Homestead Air Reserve Base. Interested vendors are needed in filling the requirement of HD Saltellite Services for approximately 400 units. The proposed contract action will be for a total small business set-aside. Offers from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 515210, Cable and Other Subscription Programming. The small business size standard is $15 million. The 482nd MSG Operational Contracting Office at Homestead Air Reserve Base will be issuing a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6 for HD/Satellite television services. The contractor shall replace antiquated satellite service with new High Definition Satellite Service, to include new head-end units, combiners, power supplies, etc. The contractor will also provide all parts, labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, personnel, and supervision necessary to activate, input, and maintain HD satellite program signal to government owned facilities and equipment; including maintenance of head end equipment and all internal/external lines associated with the operation of the system. DFARS 252.204-7004, required Systems for Award Management will be incorporated by reference in this acquisition. The offeror shall provide its DUNS or if applicable, DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the SAM database. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors are recommended to initiate SAM registration and/or complete annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at: http//www.sam.gov/ or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Additionally, the successful offeror will be required to submit invoices using Wide Area Work Flow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA).
