- Army Contracting Command - US SOUTHCOM Headquarters located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, Florida 33172 will be issuing on a competitive basis, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the purpose of supporting the SOUTHCOM Center for Contracting Excellence in Miami, Florida. The services required include commercially available catering support services to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform a Blanket Purchase Agreement with (3) catering companies providing catering services. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis and an additional written solicitation will be issued at or around December 7, 2013. The Request for Quotation number is W91QEX-13-T-0044 for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 722320(Caterers). Vendors shall be located in the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale area, and be able to transport the food to US SOUTHCOM Headquarters. It is the Government's intent to issue a BPA to the vendor(s) who submission provides the best value to the Government. The BPAs will be valid for a period of three (3) years. The issuance of a BPA does not guarantee vendors a minimum number of, or any orders. The BPA calls will be issued to all agreements holders based on competition. Evaluation and selection for BPA issuance will be based up the following: (1) Price and (2) Technical.. Any interested party may inquire in writing to the following Contract Specialist, via email, to Sherwin.d.riley.civ@mail.mil. Any correspondence relating to this synopsis should have quote mark Caterering BPA quote mark notated in the subject field. All responses to the Request for Quotation shall be received by December 22, 2013.
