- MAP INTERESTED VENDORS FORM THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY; NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The NAICS Code is 112310. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking Fresh, Shell-Protected Egg Companies who are capable of providing several types of eggs and quantities to at least 52 Commissary locations in DeCA's West Area; delivery days and hours will vary per location. See attached map for proposed geographical groupings. The contractor should also be able to provide additional support and promotions to each commissary store. Additional support includes point of sale material, recipe cards, pamphlets, nutritional facts, other consumer related materials, and vendor stocking. Vendor stocking is a requirement for this acquisition to stock fresh, shell-protected eggs in each designated commissary store location. DeCA's commissaries are Government-owned facilities designed to operate similar to commercial retail supermarkets that provide food items and other merchandise for resale to the military and their families at a cost savings when compared to the same or similar products sold in the commercial retail markets. Interested sources are required to respond to this sources sought synopsis by completing and submitting the attached Interested Supplier Form to the contracting office. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be accepted by email to pscc.commodities@deca.mil. NO LATER THAN 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, December 5, 2013, 2013.
