- Announcement of Opportunity SFB-020b - Tenant Improvement-Electrical Haleakalā, Maui, Hawai'i The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. (AURA), on behalf of the National Solar Observatory, is soliciting Request for Quotes (RFQ) from contractors licensed in the State of Hawai‘i specializing in Installation of Commercial Plumbing in support of the Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST) Project. The scope of this work includes all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the Utility Building and Support & Operations Building (S&O Building) Plumbing including, but not limited to supply, rough-in, and finished installation of plumbing fixtures, domestic cold water, waste and vent piping up to existing underground systems, compressed air, and deionized water. This effort is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Public Law 111-5) and the requirements set forth at 2 CFR Part 176, "Award Terms for Assistance Agreements that include funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Public Law 111-5," shall be applied. Complete submittals packages must be received not later than THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2014 3:00 PM (MST). Please follow the "Bidders Instructions" carefully.
