- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. The Government has a requirement for the acquisition of one (1) Optical and Digital Alignment Kit. This kit is made up of forty-four (44) parts as detailed below in Secion C.3.1. This procurement is to support the fielding of the M119A3 howitzer, by performing alignment of the optical and digital sighting equipment on the howitzer.
