- RFI - Multi-Carrier enhanced Cell Coverage Purpose The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to have potential providers submit a solution for Multi Carrier Enhanced Cell Phone coverage for review and feasibility for implementation at the United States Air force Academy (USAFA). This must be at NO COST to the Government. The attached Statement of Objectives provides the minimum needs of the Government. The United States Air Force Academy is interested in industry feedback regarding the feasibility of a Fence to Fence Agnostic solution to provide total 4G LTE coverage throughout the USAF Academy. Please limit your solution package to no more than 15 Pages. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). This notice is issued for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. No award will be made from this RFI and the Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. Firms responding to this announcement should include company name, point of contact, address. Responses should include a statement of capability (SOC) that addresses the vendor's ability to provide the Agnostic Cell phone infrastructure in accordance with the SOO. All feedback will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for possible implementation of a fence to fence agnostic cell phone architecture done at no cost to the Government. Solution must be a state of the art agnostic solution: •1. Potential carrier's solution will provide, at a minimum, cellular and 4g LTE data coverage for all areas of the USAFA. The solution shall be carrier agnostic. The solution must be in compliance with the 1996 Telecommunications Act. And must be designed using the smallest footprint possible. •2. Operational Security Considerations: The Government reserves the right to deny access to the installation for personnel based on results of the NAC background check. •3. Solutions should be limited to 15 pages. •a. Should include: milestone for completion of effort. •b. Technical solution: The feasibility of the technical solution will be evaluated and considered to determine its ability to meet requirements of the Statement of Objectives.
