- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is NWWG9502-14-00377. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-70. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) requires thirty (30) 3DM-GX1 tri-axial sensors, combining angular rate gyros, accelerometers, magnetometers, and embedded processors, thirty (30) Interace cables to 3DM-GX1, with a required delivery date of January 28, 2014. Item 0001, Thirty (30) Each, 3DM-GX1 tri-axial sensor, P/N: 6205-0020, tiny_mce_marker_______. Item 0002, Thirty (30) each, Interface Cable to 3DM-GX1, P/N: 6206-0020, tiny_mce_marker_______. The required delivery date is January 28, 2014. All quotes shall be FOB Destination to: NOAA/NDBC/Operations Branch/W/OPS52, Building 3203, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529-6000. Vendor must submit specifications of the proposed Sensor and Cable as listed above. Vendors shall include a completed copy of its representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (APR 2012), with its quote. Vendors shall refer to www.acquisition.gov to obtain a copy of FAR provision 52.212-3. Destination (NOV 1991) No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is assigned. The resulting purchase order will be negotiated as a firm-fixed price Purchase Order. In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. For information regarding registration in SAM contact the SAM website at www.sam.gov Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and PROVIDE WITH THE QUOTE, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
