- 1. Solicitation will be issued on or about: 4 Sept 2013 2. Estimated closing/response date: 7 Oct 2013 3. PR #: FD2030-13-02101 4. Nomenclature/Noun: CONTROL SURFACE, GUI 5. NSN: 1420-01-366-0907MW 6. P/N: 739452 & 739452B 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft): B-52 AIRCRAFT 8. Description: POWER DRIVE UNIT CONTROLLER;PART OF POWER DRIVE UNIT,P/N 99167;USED ON SUSPENDED FRAME,P/N 82918. Used to test rotation of rotary launcher on suspended load frame at IMFs. 9. Total Line Item Quantity is 6 each, Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB OK. Required Delivery: 1 ea per month starting 30 Oct 2013. 10. Other: Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which is suitable for competitive acquisition for the first time. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part. This code is used in situations where the Government has the data but does not own the rights to the data.. 11. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
