SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DOL141R120733 DEMOLISH AND REPLACE FAILED SUBSURFACE STORMWATER RETENTION BASIN AT THE KEYSTONE JOB CORPS CENTER THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(i) this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are potential SMALL BUSINESSES with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). THE RFP RESULTING FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE WILL BE ISSUED SEPARATELY AND ADVERTISED ON THE Federal Business Opportunities Website ( https://www.fbo.gov ). The information received will be used to determine whether to issue the proposed solicitation as a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (unrestricted). PROJECT INFORMATION : The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Job Corps, seeks the services of a qualified small business to install a new subsurface stormwater retention system at the Keystone Job Corps Center, located in Drums Pennsylvania. The project includes: Demolition and removal of the existing unserviceable 6,642 square foot subsurface storage structure. Replacement of the existing by installation of a new 4,725 square foot subsurface basin. The new basin will: Be 2.5 feet high, containing clean crushed stone and 380 linear feet of 12-inch perforated HDPE pipe and two storm inlets. Be at the same elevation (95.00 feet) and within the footprint of the existing basin that is to be removed. WHO MAY RESPOND : Interest in this Sources Sought announcement is open to certified small business contractors, relative to the primary NAICS 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. As specified within FAR 4.1102, all interested small business General Construction firms shall be registered via the System for Award Management (SAM) internet site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to award. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All interested general contractors shall include within their Capabilities Statement package, the following information concerning their firm but not limited to: their company's name, DUNS number, business address, telephone number(s), and small business type/status. Contractors should have experience and a proven successful record in demolition and construction of industrial subsurface stormwater management projects with a construction value between $100,000 and $250,000. Stated experience should be within the last five years. Contractors will have qualified personnel and capacity to schedule, safely manage and complete the project on time and within budget.
