Description

Attachment #1 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation B.1 STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVE. Requirement for the rental of coveralls and wipers/rags for various activities aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and satellite activities. B.2 PROCUREMENT APPROACH. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication. Solicitation number M67001-14-Q-0001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-70 30 September 2013. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 812332, and the small business size standard is $35.5 M. This requirement is being procured utilizing FAR Part 13 procedures. The requirement is for a Base period and two (2) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government Base Year: 01 January 2014 TO 31 December 2014 First Option Year: 01 January 2015 TO 31 December 2015 Second Option Year: 01 January 2016 TO 31 December 2016 B.3 BASIS FOR AWARD. The Government will make award to the quoter that is Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable with satisfactory past performance. B.4 TYPE OF CONTRACT. This is a requirements contract in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 REQUIREMENTS (Oct 1995), for rental and laundering of coveralls and wiper/rags.
