- Janitorial Services Gunflint Ranger Station Solicitation Number AG-63A9-S-14-0001 Description: The MN Shared Services Contracting Unit announces an opportunity for janitorial services at the Gunflint Ranger District Office. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, and transportation to complete the required janitorial services, in accordance with the attached specifications, for the Superior National Forests' Gunflint Ranger District Office buildings located in Grand Marais, MN in Cook County. The estimated start work date is January 1, 2014, for the initial period of (January 1, 2014 through September 3, 2014) with the option for four additional option years. The scope of this work is continuous janitorial services at one location. i. Administrative Office. ii. One bathroom located in the upper warehouse on the compound. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This procurement is a total small-business set aside. The NAICS code is 561720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million. Vendors must be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) prior to receiving a government contract (formerly Central Contractors Registration or CCR). See www.sam.gov for details - this may take up to 2 weeks and requires a DUNS number, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award.
