- Sources Sought Synopsis - Maintenance Services for General Electric High Technology Medical Equipment. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Healthcare Administration, Network Contracting Office 19 is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing maintenance inspections, checks, services, OEM parts, repair work and technical support incorporated into a Maintenance Service Agreement for the following General Electric Medical Imaging Equipment. The Agreement shall include services for both equipment and software to all patented equipment and proprietary software. The equipment is located at the VA Grand Junction Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO. Equipment List: GE X-Ray ADVANTX TC Interventional C-Arm and workstations, GE MR SIGNA 1.5T ECHOSPEED HISP, GE MR Magnet and Cryogen, GE XRay OEC Mini 6800, GE X-Ray AMX4 + AND PRIOR, GE XRay DEFINIUM 700 PORTABLE AMX 700, GE XR Tethered Detector TRAD, GE UL LOGIQ e, GE UL VIVID E9 4D, AND GE UL Standalone ECHOPAC software. All interested businesses are requested to submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to provide a maintenance service agreement for ALL of the specified equipment. The business must be authorized and qualified by GE to provide services for ALL listed equipment. Businesses responding must be authorized service representatives for General Electric and provide detailed written documentation from General Electric that clearly substantiates technical compliance for ALL listed equipment. The business must document authorized access to equipment technical specifications and operational software required for equipment failure diagnosis, corrective repairs, new OEM parts and system updates and upgrades to equipment and software. Include in your response: -1 the written documentation from GE as an authorized service representative for all of the listed equipment; -2 draft outline of key elements of a maintenance agreement, -3 the helpdesk support process and -4 information about current maintenance agreements with other commercial companies.
