Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive purchase order to Molecular Devices located Sunnyvale, CA for repair of dispense lift motor and sensors and a one-time depot safeguard plan for Gemini XPS, Spectramax plus 384 for one year from the date of award. There are no option periods. The Molecular Devices is manufacturer of the Spectramax plus 384 and the SkanWasher 400. The design and parts are not interchangeable with other devices of similar nature. Molecular Devices does not sell replacement parts to resell companies therefore the only way to fix one of these machines is to contract directly with Molecular Devices. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to cvega@usgs.gov or fax to 703-648-7899. Emailed responses are preferred.
