- U.S. GOVERNMENT will seek to satisfy new and/or continuing lease requirements through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP) for the month of December. HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP) is a Web application enabling the electronic offering of space for lease to the Federal Government. This web application is located at the following internet address: https://aaap.secure.force.com/AAAP. In order to access this application, participants must go to the AAAP website, select the “Register to offer space” link and follow the instructions to register. Once registered, offerors may enter offers from December 1, 2013 through December 20, 2013 (the “Open Period”) at 11:59 pm (EST). The AAAP will be used to award leases, in increments of up to 100,000 BOMA Rentable Square Feet of office and related space yielding up to 90,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet of office space to satisfy new requirements and/or compete existing leases for potential replacement. The Government reserves the right to award less than the total square footage advertised herein, make multiple awards totaling more or less than the total square footage advertised herein and/or combine multiple space requirements. Building/space specifications and offer terms and conditions are contained in the Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) and related documents posted on the website. Specific requirements will be identified after the close of the Open Period. The Government reserves the right to award less than the total square footage advertised herein, make multiple awards totaling more or less than the total square footage advertised herein and/or combine multiple space requirements. Building/space specifications and offer terms and conditions are contained in the Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) and related documents posted on the AAAP website (https://aaap.secure.force.com/AAAP). Specific requirements will be identified after the close of the Open Period. This RLP ( RLP# 14-CHI ) will become effective as of the last day of the December Open Period and will apply to all requirements competed through the AAAP program starting in December and extending through the remainder of FY 2014 or until it is replaced. In order to allow sufficient time for offerors to familiarize themselves with the new RLP and make any necessary changes to their offers, the open period for December will be extended. The open period for December will run from December 1, 2012 until December 20, 2012 at 11:59 pm (EST). The open period will return to its normal 7-day length in January. The AAAP application has a copy feature which will allow existing offers to be copied over to the new RLP (14-NCR) in order to avoid having to re-enter all of the data manually. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for commencement of tenant alterations within 60 days of this notice. DELINEATED AREA: All properties offered to the Government pursuant to the listed RLP must be located in Cook County, Illinois. Delineated areas are clarified further in the RLP posted on the AAAP website and may be restricted further when specific requirements are developed. LEASE TERM: Up to 10 years.
