- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a firm-fixed-price contract for GAP ANALYSIS REPORT, Comparing Current Academic Standards and Currently Adopted Materials. This procurement is being conducted under commercial item and simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. The total period of performance will be one year to include a base period of 4months and two four month option periods. Offerors must be registered in the Federal Government website at www.sam.gov. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is an education activity and a federal government agency within the Department of Defense; is tax exempt and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. No information concerning the solicitation or requests for clarifications will be given in response to telephone calls. All inquiries/questions must be submitted in writing to Ronald.Kunz@hq.dodea.edu no later than November 18, 2013 at 2:00PM EST. Answers will be provided via an amendment to the solicitation. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all the supporting documents and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://fbo.gov. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOpps until the response due date and time. Quotes are due no later than December 20, 2013 at 2:00PM EST.
