The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting Office, on behalf of the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking to acquire yttrium-90 microspheres in intravenous form as a treatment for primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) while patients await liver transplants. The VA is looking for interested vendors capable of providing approximately 30 -45 individual doses of yttrium-90 per year for the next five years. A formal Request for Information is to follow.
