CANCELLATION NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 740-14-1-5029-0002 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-69. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7.00M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2013-09-26 16:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Corpus Christi, TX 78413 The VHA NCO 17 - 671 - South Texas Veterans Health Care System requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: Base Period of Performance: 10/01/2013 - 09/30/2014 LI 001: Base Year: Landscaping statement of work for Corpus Christi Outpatient Clinic (CCOPC) 5283 Old Brownville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. Vendor is to provide equipment and labor to perform landscaping. Vendor will insure work is performed efficiently and in a timely manner. All landscaping work is to be performed weekly (weather permitting) and any deviation from schedule will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) (Ruben Reyes) at 361-806-5621. Contract is for a Base plus four (4 option years). Service must commence immediately; 1 Oct 2013-30 Sept 2014 with option years. Work will be performed weekly between the hours of 08:00 AM and 04:00 PM Monday thru Friday. 1.Clean parking lot and driveway of loose waste and trash. Pickup and dispose of accumulated material. 2.Clean lawn of trash to prepare lawn for mowing. 3.Mow entire lawn area. 4.Edge all sidewalks and driveways. 5.Weed and cultivate the flower beds as needed. 6.Prune and trim hedges as required for proper growth and shape 7.Sweep up and remove grass clippings and debris from curbs, sidewalks, and flower beds. 8.Spray herbicide in cracks in driveway and sidewalks to control growth of weed and grass. Seasonal Work: 1.As determined by the location and growing season, apply appropriate fertilizer twice a year to the grounds. 2.As determined by the location and growing season, trim and prune all trees and oleanders twice a year. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, VHA NCO 17 - 671 - South Texas Veterans Health Care System intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
