- White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office, WSMR NM intends to award a Sole Source, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Notice of intent to award sole source to National Instruments, Inc., 11500 N Mopac Expwy, Austin, TX 78759.This requirement is for the purchase of (QTY) one (1) NI Labview Full development system, Labview Real-time Module and Labview FPGA Module for 1 yr. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition 511210, with a size standard in 35.5 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package will be issued. However, responses received by December 10, 2013 will be considered by the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to future compete procurements based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
