- LINE ITEMS FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NIAIDNOI14-D1652285 and the solicitation is being issued as a Notice of Intent intends to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC. 1 Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY, 10594-1939. Period of Performance (including Options) POP: 12/01/2013-11/30/2014; OPT YR 1 12/01/2014-11/30/15; OPT YR 2 12/01/2015-11/30/2016; OPT YR 3 12/01/2016-11/30/2017; OPT YR 4 12/01/2017-11/30/2018. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-70, September 30, 2013). This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 which have a business size standard of 500; for the following items and quantity.
