Description
The United States Government currently occupies office and warehouse space in a building under a lease in Redding CT that will be expiring. The Government is seeking to lease approximately 5,800 contiguous rentable square feet with approximately 3,310 office and storage space and 2,000 warehouse type space. The rental space must yield at least 5,310 contiguous ANSI/BOMA (OASF). The lease term requirement is for ten (10) years five (5) firm. Must have parking for 5 Government vehicles. The space must be available for occupancy no later than August 1, 2014 or sooner. The delineated area must be within a 3 mile driving distance from Weir Farms located at 735 Nod HIll Rd, Wilton CT. The space must be located on the ground floor with one vehicle bay with a roll up type door with a minimum height of 14'. Parking lot must have the capacity to store two (2) Equipment trailors amd one (1) shuttle bus. No subleased space will be considered. The mission of the agency is critical to the location of the warehouse/office space. The building must meet the Federal Governments standards for Fire Life Safety and be capable of being handicapped accessible. The space must be capable of meeting the agencies security requirements. Space shall be located within a prime commercial district within the Redding/Wilton community with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Building must have sufficient public parking nearby. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM EST on December, 19 2013 AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name and address, and location of space in the building. 2) Legal description 3) Drawing of space offered. 4) ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet 5) Rentable Square Feet Offered 6) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to Determine the Rentable Square Feet 7) Number of parking spaces available on the premises. 8) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted.
