- This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and is a market research tool to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources. The Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought. All the information submitted will be considered and treated as public information. The vendor should not include any pricing or proprietary information. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote; therefore, responses to this notice will not be accepted as offers. RCO-Alaska on behalf of the Fort Wainwright Food Service Division is seeking potential sources interested in proposing prices for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide various commercial kitchen service supplies for Fort Wainwright, AK. Delivery time requested for proposed orders should be no more than 7-10 days from order placement. We are proposing a Five-Year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). In addition to searching the market for qualified vendors, the results of the sources sought will be used to determine if any Small Business Set-Aside opportunities exist using NAICS Code 423850 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. The Government requests that all interested companies, Large and Small, submit their capabilities statement. The vendor will be required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: (1) company name and mailing address (2) organizational point of contact to include name, telephone number and e-mail address (3) DUNS Number and Cage Code (4) Business size (5) Title your request with the wording quote mark FWA Food Service BPA quote mark Responses to this notice must be received by this office no later than 5:00 PM (AKST) on December 13, 2013. Submissions can be faxed to 907-353-7302 or sent electronically to john.c.kump.mil@mail.mil. The Government will not award a purchase order or contract based upon vendor responses to this announcement. The Government shall not assume any costs for preparing or submitting any information in response to the market survey or the Government's use of the information. Any proprietary information should be clearly identified as quote mark proprietary information quote mark. This sources sought/request for information does not constitute an invitation for bids, request for proposal, and should not be construed as a commitment by the government to issue an order/contract or otherwise pay for the information solicited. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement.
