- Description
- OL:H/PZIOA, Hill AFB, Operational Contracting intends to award a Sole Source contract to Comcast of Wasatch, Inc. for Cable Service in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 515210, and the business size standard is $35 Million. Comcast of Wasatch, Inc. has an existing Bulk Agreement in effect with Hill AFB until the beginning of FY18. Comcast was awarded the Base cable contract in March which was subsequently cancelled in May. Comcast cable owns the cabling up to the wall jack in the Warrior Fitness Center until the end of the service period as part of the Bulk Service Agreement. Therefore, it is determined that they are the only souce that is capable of providing service within the timeframe required. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price Requirement/ "C" type contract. The Period of Performance (POP) for this requirement will be from 24 December 2013 to 23 December, 2018 to include one basic year and four option years. The anticipated award date will be Dec 20 2013. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future will be in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide these services. Requests must include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers of the requester, e-mail address, Cage code and business size. All proposals should be delivered via e-mail to andrew.taylor@hill.af.mil, no later than 2:00pm MST, 19 Dec, 2013. Proposals delivered by other than e-mail will not be accepted. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
