- This ?Notice of Intent? is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Department of Energy?s (DOE), Office of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has a requirement for immediate support to the continued success of CFO?s efforts to operate and maintain the iManage Corporate DOE Business Systems. Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Government intends to issue a new contract to Appsential, LLC. to satisfy this requirement. The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, if all options are exercised. The base period is six months and each option period is three months. Appsential offers expertise in application operations, administration and maintenance support of financial and accounting systems, procurement systems, data warehouses and portals. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253 [c] [1], as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by Monday December 23, 2013 at 9:00am local prevailing time (Washington, D.C.) via e-mail to Monica.serrano@hq.doe.gov. The written response must include a detailed discussion demonstrating experience providing services identified in this announcement and past performance client information for similar work. Please include DE-SOL-0006426 in Email Subject Line. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
