This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6-streamlined procedures for commercial items, in conjunction with FAR subpart 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. Only qualified offerors may submit offers. Solicitation VA262-14-Q-0164 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement will be a small business set-aside. NAICS Code is 811310 and size standard is $7.0 million. Any firm that does not meet the capability and size standard under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. In order to be considered technically acceptable for a government award, the firm must be fully registered in Government website SAM, which is located at the following URL: www.sam.gov and be capable of providing all parts, service, manuals, tools or software required to successfully complete the installation of a new duplex compressor and the demo/removal of the old existing compressor system, as listed in the attached statement of work. This service is required for the Los Angeles VA Medical Center, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Building 295, Los Angeles, CA 90073 within VISN 22, in accordance with the terms, conditions, special provisions and schedules herein. An optional site visit has been scheduled for 12/13/2013 @ 10:00 AM PST. The following information is instructions for the site visit: "Meeting Location: oLos Angeles VA Medical Center 11301 Wilshire Blvd Building 295 Los Angeles, CA 90073 "Contractor must bring valid state issued ID for identification purposes. "All contractors must sign in on the provided sign-in sheet Award will be made to the contractor technically acceptable at the lowest price which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation.
