Description: This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of all qualified and interested parties. The Department of Public Works on Fort McCoy, WI is seeking sources to provide solid waste collection containers, pick up those containers when full, transporting the waste or recyclable material to the appropriate landfill or recycling processing center, and returning the empty container. Waste streams included in this contract include municipal solid waste, asbestos, bulky items, comingled recyclables, waste wood both treated and un-treated, construction and demolition materials, and oil contaminated soil and shop rags. The Period of Performance is 1 Apr 14 to 30 Sep 14. The work will be performed on Fort McCoy, WI. Interested sources are requested to submit an email showing how they can meet the existing requirement. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is (NAICS) 562111 Solid Waste Collection. The small business size standard is 35.5 Million Dollars. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Stephen.e.jones8.civ@mail.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 09:00 AM Central Standard Time on 08 January 2014.
