Description
Statement of Work for the Propylene Glycol Propylene Glycol for stock replenishment to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) intends to solicit for purchase of 5,000 One-Quart Containers, Propylene Glycol Base for use with Universal Gage, Weighing Gage and all Weather Precipitation Accumulation Gage, IAW Specification No. D111-153-SP004. NSN: 6850-01-288-7922. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS), to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The Propylene Glycol shall be packaged two (2) each one-quart containers per box with absolutely no exceptions. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Firms interested in this requirement must respond to this notice by submitting demonstrated evidence of its capability to provide the exact product specified in the Specification No. for the NWS program. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this request to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforms to the request resulting in the best value to the Government, lowest price and delivery schedule. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325199. All contractors doing business with the Government must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered with SAM. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package is attached to this notice. Offerors may submit their proposal to email address karen.l.christian@noaa.gov or fax to 727-664-3622. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the Agency. All interested parties will be required to sign, date and provide a DUN & Bradstreet number with their quote as stated in the RFQ.
