- Intent to Sole source AIHA Certification & Inspection The solicitation number is FA8601-14-T-0052, the NAICS Code is 813920. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii). The proposed sole source is American Industrial Hygiene Association, INC. The purchase is for AIHA Certification & Inspection Services that will be used to perform onsite inspections & proficiency testing (PT) & reaccreditation of DET 3 USAFSAM Okinawa, Japan. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any information should be e-mailed to Valerie.Laneymiddleton@us.af.mil or faxed to Valerie Laney-Middleton, AFLCMC/PZIOA, 937-656-1412 no later than 1:00 PM Local (Wright-Patterson AFB) time on 10 December 2013. Only inquiries/information received by this date will be considered. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads "FA8601-14-T-0052 AIHA Certification & Inspection." Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe, or.zip files). Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that.zip or.exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB.
