Description

Performance Work Statement Neurophysiologic Monitoring 1. General 1.1 Services Required This contract will provide Scarce Medical Services for neurophysiologic monitoring at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. The Surgical & Perioperative Care Service Line will utilize services of the contractor to provide neuro-monitoring procedures on a case by case basis. Neurophysiologic monitoring uses recordings of electrical potentials from the nervous system during surgical procedures intended to reduce the risk of neurological deficits. This service is not available at the Atlanta VAMC. The fourth and final option year of the current contract ends on May 31, 2013. 1.2 Place of Performance Contractor to provide Neuro-monitoring services at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA. 1.3 Authority This is a competitive procurement in accordance with the Enhanced Medical Sharing Agreement, under authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8153, Health Care Resources Contracting - Buying.
