Description
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca intends to modify contract W91RUS-09-C-0031 to add six (6) additional months to the contract. Contract W91RUS-09-C-0031 was put in place to provide non-personal services to operate and maintain two Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) AN/GSC-52A(V)4 terminals, one MILSTAR AN/FRC-181(V)1 (EHF) Terminals, two COMSAT terminals, one HEMP Power System (HPS), and two Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) switches located at Fort Greely, Alaska (FGA), 24 hrs per day, seven days per week for the term of the extension to include federal holidays. The requirement includes telecommunication technicians, maintenance personnel, and HVAC. Contract W91RUS-09-C-0031 was awarded to Harris IT Services, 21000 Atlantic Blvd Ste 300 Dulles, VA 20166-2196 on 19 June 2009, as a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. Contract W91RUS-09-C-00031 currently expires 31 December 2013. The Period of Performance (PoP) for an additional six (6) months will be from 1 January 2014 through 30 June 2014. The NAICS code for this contract is 517410 ? Satellite Telecommunications Carriers with a corresponding size standard of $30 million dollars. Funds to be used for the additional six (6) months will be Fiscal Year 14, Operations and Maintenance Army (OMA) funds. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued. Interested parties may express interest and provide a capability statement no later than noon, Mountain Standard Time, 26 December 2013. Responses should be addressed to Ronald.j.fushi.civ@mail.mil. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposed only. The determination to refrain from competing this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received.
