- Notification of Sole Source Procurement: in accordance with 10.U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) the Government intends to sole source to Hydralift AmClyde, Inc. for rollers and pins for the LD-683 100-ton Clyde floating crane at the Louisville Repair Station (LRS) because the EM-385-1-1, section 16,A,15.b states that quote mark replacement parts for load bearing and other critical parts shall be obtained from the original manufacturer, (if possible) or certified by a registered engineer knowledgeable in cranes. quote mark The rollers and pins are load bearing parts so, they must be obtained, if possible, from the original manufacturer of the crane. The original manufacturer, and source for this procurement is: Hydralift AmClyde 240 East Plato Boulevard St. Paul, MN 55107 All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. A proposal must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time on 12 December 2013 to Patrick.J.Duggins@usace.army.mil.
