- Description
- There was a mistake in one of the question. Please review below question. Question Section L - Instructions, Conditions and Notices to Bidders, paragraph 2 provides the specific PWS paragraphs that will be evaluated for the Part II Technical Proposal. Are we correct to assume these are the only items we are to respond to in the proposal response or does the government want responses to all PWS requirements? Please clarify. Old Answer The government wants a response to all the PWS requirements. NEW ANSWER Yes you are correct in your assumption. Question Since the directions in Section L and M specified exact paragraphs that would be evaluated, the new direction is to respond to all PWS paragraphs, will there be an extension forthcoming to accommodate the additional time needed to respond to all PWS sections? Answer Please see about correction to question. Question Paragraphs 1.6 - 1.9 are Labor category description/requirements. Since these are buried in the middle of the PWS, is it the government's intent that the bidder respond to each sub paragraph in the labor descriptions? Answer Please see about correction to question. Question The current solicitation directs one methodology for responding yet the Q&A provides a different approach. Section M clearly states that proposals will be evaluated by specific paragraphs... 1.1.1 through 1.1.6, 1.2.1, 1.2.2.1.1. and 1.2.2.1.2, and 1.3.1, 1.3.1.1 and 1.3.5 etc. Will the government be releasing a new sections L and section M to clarify what is needed? Answer Please see about correction to question. Other Question Received Question In the Q&A response the government states that the section B quantity of 50 is to help with the systems and that the government is going to award task orders and because the government does not know how many are going to be ordered a bigger number was included to make sure there is enough in the long run. Since the supplier is required to complete section B with total price how are we to fill in the price so the pricing proposal and units of "lots" match correctly? In other words how do we price a "lot" when the price breakdown is not in that unit? Answer We are not asking you to bid on a total cost per lot, we are asking you to bid your labor rates for the different job categories. The total cost of the contract is going to come from the table that is attached in the solicitation where you will place your labor rates per category.
