Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for determining sources available within a 42 mile radius of Naval Station Great Lakes. **************************************************************** The Naval Station Public Works Department Great Lakes is looking for a facility to provide a disposal site that would allow for the dumping of sanitary waste obtained from sewage manholes and lift stations containing grit, gravel and other solids typically associated with sewage distribution systems. Disposal would also include water, mud, silt, sand & gravel collected from water main breaks and water jetting for ground excavation of construction projects. The projected amounts for disposal are approximately 40,000 to 50,000 gals of sewage liquids and solids and 140,000 to 160,000 gals of water, mud, silt, sand and gravel per year. Travel distance from Naval Station Great Lakes will be limited to a maximum of 42 miles to the disposal location. Interested parties should respond no later than 1:00 pm on 01/08/2014. Responses should be emailed to sari.brindel@navy.mil and amy.franks@navy.mil and should include: 1) The facility name and address so we can determine the distance it is from Naval Station Great Lakes, Il. 2) Statement that you are certified for solidification 3) The DUNS and cage code of the offeror. If you do not have a DUNS and cage at this time, please indicate so. If a solicitation is forthcoming, any successful offeror must have a DUNS and cage code at that time.
