- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source as this is a follow-on contract, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. This award is for the purchase of annual maintenance support for the following ESRI products; ArcGIS, ArcEditior, ArcInfo, for use on Radio Frequency In Transit Visibility (RF-ITV) servers located within CONUS and OCONUS. Yearly maintenance is required to maintain mapping capabilities. ESRI solely owns the Intellectual Property for ArcGIS, ArcEditior, and ArcInfo as well as the interfacing hardware. As such, ESRI is the sole-source manufacturer and only provider for technical support for the ESRI products, to include ESRI software upgrades/updates for all ESRI products that PD AMIS employs on the RF-ITV systems.
