- The Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), Division of Procurement Services, under the authority FAR 6.302-1, Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to the firm, North Star Imaging, Inc, 19875 S. Diamond Lake Road, Suite 10, Rogers, MN 55374 to provide preventative maintenance services, to include scheduled inspections and unlimited phone support of theX5000 CT 225 X-Ray System. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 334516 and the Standard Size is 500. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award during performance and through final payment. Lack of registration in the SAM database will constitute ineligibility for award. This is NOT a Request for Quotation to solicit competitive quotes, however any firm that believes it can supply these services may give a written notification to the contract specialist, Rudi Murray-Johnson via email rmurray-johnson@cpsc.gov by 10 am EST on December 20, 2013. No Telephone Requests will be accepted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detailed and responses received will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, CPSC will proceed with negotiating a sole source award to North Star Imaging, Inc.
