Description

SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 27 DECEMBER 2013 The intent of this project is to abate interior/exterior asbestos and demolish 72 identified housing units (19 bldgs) (Base plus 3 options) at CG Air Station Cape Cod, Bourne, MA. The anticipated construction time is 240 days (34 weeks) after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A bid bond of 20%using Standard Form 24 is required. Payment and Performance bonds (SF25, SF25A) will be required for 100% of the total award amount. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14 million. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 27 December 2013. The tentative date set for bid opening is 04 February 2014 at 2:00 p.m. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.805, Competitive 8(a) set-aside procedures, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for 8(a) Small Business concerns (using NAICS Code 238910) within the Small Business Administration Region I (MA, ME, NH, RI, CT, VT) only.
