- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement to support the Medical Countermeasure Systems, Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program by providing Sustainment and Maintenance of its Biological Surety Program. This award will be made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the support needed. The requirement will be Sole Sourced to IIT Research Institute (IITRI) as they are currently providing this support to the Medical Countermeasure Program, they are the only company that can currently meet the Army's BSAT requirements and that have the subject matter expertise in this area of support. The services required for the Sustainment and Maintenance of this program includes; Provide support and respond to findings from the DA Inspector General (DAIG) rated inspections and Surety Management Reviews Mission Operations, Safety Security, Surety Management, Emergency Response, Medical Support, Inspections and Audits and Reports. The facility requirements are that they must be compliant with the Biological surety program at its facilities that meets the objectives of Department of Defense Biological Select Agents and Toxins that will support the ongoing mission of the Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541711.
