- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 5, has a requirement for the following: 1. Remove the existing boardwalk and install a replacement boardwalk at the same location. 2. Re-grade the existing gravel parking lot with new gravel and install a concrete slab on the lot. All work shall be done in accordance with the specs and drawings which will be available when the solicitation is posted. This contract opportunity is a total set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237310. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000. Registration is required on the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov) website. Failure to register in the SAM database may deem an offeror ineligible for award. The solicitation will be released through www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about December 23, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will be set forth in the solicitation. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. All interested contractors are encouraged to visit the site.
