- Description
- The Research Analysis Office (RAO) in the Flight Project Directorate at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) hereby requests information to identify potential sources for the Research Analysis and Software Tools for Operations Research of Space Flight Projects. NASA/GSFC requires a Contractor to analyze historical space flight project data to determine and refine factors, relationships and methods for estimating the probable costs and schedules of projects. Formulate, develop, test and validate models and techniques for the Resource Analyst Office (RAO) operations research. Provide testing and validation of mathematical and analytical models for operations research of space flight projects. Provide development, implementation, and maintenance of software tools for customized software tools that automate current, new, and improved models and associated techniques for RAOs operations research. Provide database management and computer programming support by developing and maintaining electronic databases of space flight project data that augment and complement RAOs core database of historical space flight project data. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and reference. In addition, responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business, average annual revenue for the past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether your firm is a large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned.
