- Performance Work Specification Printable format of the sources sought letter Sources Sought Synopsis Communication Infrastructure Material & Installation BPA 1. This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for providing the material and installation of communication infrastructure (CAT 6 cabling, jacks, patch panels; installation/relocation of wireless LAN equipment; fiber optic cable installation; fiber optic patch panels; installation of backboards, jacks, cable trays, raceways, J-hooks, racks, cross-connects, and infrastructure surveys). 2. Below is a document containing a description of the Communications Infrastructure Installation BPA requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company's capability. 3. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 4. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses; therefore, small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. 5. REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION Communication Infrastructure and Installation PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for needed materials and installation described in the attached Performance Work Specification for Communication Infrastructure on Hill AFB. CONTRACTOR CAPABILITY SURVEY Part I. Is your facility in close proximity to Hill AFB, UT? (All contracts competed under this BPA will require a site visit previous to receiving a request for quote.) 3. Are you capable of beginning work within 2 days of contract award? 4. Has your company provided government contractual services before? If so, please provide previous contract numbers for reference. Part III. Hardware Production Questions: Are you able to provide the following material: CAT 6 cabling, jacks, patch panels, fiber optic cable, fiber optic patch panels; backboards, jacks, cable trays, raceways, J-hooks, racks, and cross-connects and other materials associated with connecting these materials? Part IV. Commerciality Questions: 1. Are there any commercial business practices unique to your industry? If so, please describe. 2. Are there established catalog or market prices for our requirement? If you offer this product and/or service to both U.S. Government and commercial sources, is the same workforce used for both the U.S. Government and general public?
