- Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) Bremerton and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) Silverdale, WA intends to rent 3 each 2000HP Emergency Diesel Generators per attached Statement of Work in forthcoming solicitation. The place of delivery is PSNS/IMF, Silverdale, WA. F.O.B. Destination. Period of Performance from 01/03/2014 through 04/03/2014 (3 months). The proposed contract action is for rental of equipment to be solicited and negotiated using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria. The solicitation shall be posted as unrestricted, full and open competition. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website:https://www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 DECEMBER 2013 with a closing date of 24 DECEMBER 2013. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.SAM.gov.
