- Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics for Traffic Generator (10U) 12-Slot Chassis Solicitation Number: SS- F2MUTS3171A005 Subject: Sources Sought - Traffic Generator Chassis This is a Sources Sought announcement. This does not constitute a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information or demonstrations provided by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling the requirement identified below. The Air Force Telecommunication Systems Security Assessment Program (TSSAP) testing facility requires a traffic generator capable of providing high performance test solutions for network layers 2 - 7. The chassis must have at least 12 slots that are capable of supporting the following module cards: 192 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 96 - 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 6 - 40 or 100 Gigabit Higher Speed Ethernet CFP MSA ports, 12 - 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ ports 24 packet over SONET (POS) ports, or 24 asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) ports. See Attachment 1 for list of salient characteristics. Interested sources that believe they have the capability to offer a technically compliant product should submit a detailed statement of their solution via email to the contracting Point of Contract(s) identified below. The Government will not consider simple marketing information, reference to vendor's web sites or incomplete responses as a valid response. Facsimile responses are not acceptable. Please reference "SS- F2MUTS3171A005 Traffic Generator Chassis" in the e-mail subject line. Responses must also include: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address and cage code. (2) Type of business (small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business) (3) Detailed statement of the solution with substantiating documentation (data sheet with specifications).
