- Description(s): •a. a. This is an acquisition for Specialized System Engineering support of the USM-670 JSECTS System Under Test (SUT) test programs developed by AAI Corporation under contract F33657-95-C-0077 awarded by ASC/AANT. The engineering support provided by this effort is a continuation of contractor support that is currently provided by AAI Corporation to assist AFLCMC/WNY during the sustainment of the USM-670 system. The current contract is FA8523-13-M-0006. •b. b. The purpose of this acquisition is to meet the requirements for specialized engineering support of the USM-670 during sustainment of the System Under Test (SUT) Test Program sets (TPS) for the AN/ALR-56C, AN-ALQ-135, AN/ALQ-131, AN/ALQ-184, AN/ALR-56M, and the AN/ALR-69 Electronic Warfare Systems. •c. c. The proposed contract action is for engineering services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, AAI Corporation, CAGE Code: 97384. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The RFQ will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
